Last Friday and Saturday, ISM had its first glimpse of what IASAS has in store with the Pre-IASAS exchange games for season 1 sports. Our soccer and volleyball teams stayed in Manila while the cross-country team traveled to Thailand for the event.
Unfortunately, our cross-country team did not win overall. Yet, there were many memories made during the event. “The highlight of Pre-I for me was seeing my good friend and teammate Izzy make it to the stage for being 9th in the race! She ran incredibly and the whole team is so proud of her “ says Sophia, a cross-country Bearcat athlete. Back here at ISM, we saw more Bearcat spirit as our girls’ volleyball team won against Brent and TAS, while the boys won against ISB. ”Something our team is looking forward to is going back to IASAS feeling the vibes, and playing the teams we didn’t play during the exchange,” remarked Trixie, a senior volleyball player. Our soccer teams have been playing hard, anticipating the challenging games to be played during IASAS.“I am confident that this year will be a better year for us as I strongly believe that I will not struggle under pressure this year,” said Etienne, a senior soccer player looking forward to his last IASAS. Congratulations to all participants, and let’s go Bearcats!
