Hosting a Model United Nations (MUN) conference is like bringing the world into one room—but with a dash of fun and diplomacy. It is more than just debates and resolutions; it is a chance to meet new people and build connections. On November 6th, 2024, ISM will have the opportunity to host the two-day IASAS MUN conference.
Around 200 delegates will be coming to ISM from 15 different schools. ISM families will host 80 MUN members from IASAS school. All high school students are welcome to host. If you’re interested in hosting, more information can be found at https://arts.ismanila.org/fao-trips-hosting, where you can host two or more delegates.
“MUN is about more than just policy,” Mika says. “You get to exchange ideas with people from different backgrounds and perspectives, and that’s where the magic happens.” One minute you are debating international security, and the next, you are bonding with fellow delegates over shared goals (or maybe just the snacks in the lobby).
Hosting MUN this year is a unique opportunity to get involved and support one of the most interesting ISM events and make some friends, so make sure to sign up!
