The much anticipated STEAM Convention is happening on November 30th from 8:40 to 3:15 pm at the International School Manila. Students will get to see the endless possibilities that Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics hold. Students will attend workshops throughout the day and take part in the STEAM fair to showcase their own projects for a chance to win prize money. This convention is a chance for students to focus on the progress that can be found in a rapidly changing and growing society.
Compelling workshops, demonstrations, and exhibitions have been prepared to stoke participants’ curiosity about new technologies and ideas. With events aimed at the computer sciences, coding and robotics, fine arts and digital creations, and environmental technologies, the STEAM Convention is an initiative that aims to pique the educational interests of every student.
This sentiment is best expressed by Pallavi who said, “STEAM convention this year is focused on advancements, and we organized the convention to involve speakers that are both career-based and student-based, to bring together a wide range of interests.” By having a wide range of workshop leaders, students will be able to learn how they can make an impact now and in their future endeavors.
As an interactive platform for collaboration and the generation of ideas, the STEAM Convention rests in line with ISM’s mission and vision to become a school that supports creation and discovery and helps students become ready for the world’s future, where technology will play a vital role. The STEAM Convention is not just an event but a culmination of learning, innovation, and possibilities, and it displays the role and power of STEAM in defining tomorrow.
