As we approach December Break, many students hold on tightly to their sanity as we are dragged through the last push of the semester. Fortunately, we all have a celebration to look forward to. The annual Filipiniana event, hosted by the Philippine Cultural Club (PCC), takes place this Friday!
At Filipiniana, students are encouraged to come into school wearing traditional Filipino attire, or the Pamayanan shirts being sold outside the FAT by PCC. Other Filipiniana-themed merchandise includes Christmas cards and a variety of flavored banana chips.
On Friday, students will attend D, E, and F blocks. However, they can access the long-awaited Barrio Fiesta during the morning break at 8:40 AM and from lunch onward.
Students in Filipino attire are invited to walk in the Parade from 12:05 to 12:30 PM around the whole school campus, showing their pinoy pride. The celebration ends with a high school assembly from 12:40 to 1:55 PM.
