This year’s annual Battle of the Bands (BOB) promises a night to remember. The event will take place on Saturday, January 18th, at 5:15 PM on the ES field. The tickets are being sold for the event outside the FAT, with prelims tickets costing P500, finals tickets costing P800, and a ticket bundle for both costing P1000.
BOB also has a raffle, where major prizes can be won, such as iPads, PS5s, and more. Tickets can be purchased for P300 in the regular category, P450 in the grand category, and P600 in the raffle bundle. T-shirts, featuring every performer’s name in the design, are also available for P500.
Excitement is starting to creep in across ISM as the event comes closer. However, while BOB is an opportunity for students to compete against other bands and vocalists, it is so much more than just a competition; it is the grand celebration of the vibrant musical community at ISM.
One committee member said, “BOB represents a night where students get to enjoy the company of their friends while enjoying some pretty great music from their peers. From talking with students, the energy seems high as they all look forward to coming to the event.”
Students have spent months preparing for their moment in the spotlight, and with a stage set for a night of unforgettable performances, the ISM community is ready to rock!
