As the school year ends, clubs begin planning for next year, and students can now apply for various club council positions. Applying for club council positions isn’t just another activity to add to a list of extracurriculars but a way to connect and make new friends. It is a place for you to cultivate passions and meet like-minded individuals.
The Korean Culture Club, Book Club Council, and Film Council applications are due on March 21st, 2025, and the Animal Welfare Club Council application is due in late April. As for honor societies, the International Thespian Honor Society applications are due on March 20th, and the Spanish Honor Society and Math Honor Society are also open for applications. If you don’t have any interests in these fields, don’t fret, because other clubs will continue sending out applications to be both a council member and regular member.
Applying for a leadership position takes bravery and dedication; it is a great chance to put yourself out there. Whether you make it into a council or not, always remember there are opportunities for everyone and that rejection is redirection!
