Next week marks the start of Neurodiversity Week. From February 26th to March 1st, ISM encourages Bearcats to learn more about the difference and the diversity of brains in our community. The event encourages us to understand that every person is different. Neurodiversity week includes t-shirt sales and a VAC arts and crafts workshop with Stepping Stones Club, MHAC and SusCo. T-shirt sales run from the 20th to 23rd of February. Check out the HS slides to scan the QR code for shirt orders. The VAC workshop is on Friday, March 1st. The VAC Workshop also counts as CAS experience. Sign up for the VAC form here, and fill out this form from the High School Learning Support to help out!

Also, keep an eye out for the Yum-Yum Cafe, an annual food sale that will occur next week from February 28th to March 1st, 10 am to 1:30 pm in room 2013. Furthermore, Inclusion Revolution Club will host The Neurodivergent Art Exhibition on February 26th in the FAT. Essa Perez, a member of the Learning Support department, remarks, “Neurodiversity is the pivotal catalyst for positive transformation of this world. It should be embraced in every part of our lives.” Because truly, even though it’s officially celebrated over a week, remember to celebrate neurodiversity all year, Bearcats!
