Friday Night Lights (FNL), returns for Season 2 sports this Friday, November 22, 2024, promising a packed lineup of intense games at ISM. Featuring basketball, rugby, and touch matches scheduled throughout the afternoon and evening, the games will showcase the skills and spirit of ISM’s athletes. Fans can anticipate a high-energy atmosphere as teams face teams from other schools, such as BSM and Brent.
Basketball enthusiasts can catch all the MISAL league games against Brent at the HS and MS gyms. The varsity girls will take them on at 4:15 PM, followed by the varsity boys at 5:45 PM. Meanwhile, the junior varsity games against Brent will be held in the MS gym, with the boys starting at 4:15 PM and the girls at 4:45 PM.
On the MS field, the touch games will kick off at 4:00 PM, with both the JV girls and varsity girls facing Faith; the varsity game will follow at 4:45 PM. The action continues on the HS field. ISM’s 15U rugby team will go up against BSM at 4:00 PM, followed by the varsity squads clashing with the BSM Barbarians at 4:30 PM. The ISM JV gold and green teams will face off at 5:15 PM to conclude the event.
Junior basketball player, Landon, shared his excitement, saying the teams are “expecting a big crowd and a loud environment!” Freshman Cameron, a touch player, added that she is “very excited to play!” FNL will last from 4:00 to 7:00 PM so everyone is welcome and encouraged to show their support to our fellow Bearcats. Prepare for an unforgettable FNL, where cheers and competition will light up the night!
